The 5th OPRE Platform was collaborately organised with the 6th CoE-FRA-ENNHRI-EQUINET Collaborative Platform on Social and Economic Rights (“4Social Rights Platform”) which was hosted by the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission in Belfast 15-16 May 2018. The 1st Joint Meeting of the 4Social Rights and the “OPRE” platforms initiated a debate on the protection of the rights to accommodation of Travellers and the rights to housing of Roma and highlighted the human cost of evictions of both Travellers and Roma.
