Call for participants
The "Respect –
Responsible attitudes and behavior in the virtual social space" training is complementing the Council
of Europe's flagship programmed "Young
People Combating Hate Speech Online" running between 2012 - 2014. This training is the first of its
kind, and a unique collaboration between the
European Youth Foundation (Youth
Department) and the
Pestalozzi Programmed (Education
Department), bringing together participants from the youth sector, the adult
education sector and the teacher training area.
The training course will focus on the role education
–formal/informal- can play in developing responsible attitudes and behaviors in
the virtual social space. At the end of the course participants will be better
equipped to take action to
counter irresponsible behavior, raise
awareness and educate others on
the importance of responsible behavior, while being themselves examples
of good practice. Therefore, the EYF is looking for 15
participants from the youth sector to
take part in the "Respect
– Responsible attitudes and behavior in the virtual social space" training!
If you are interested in the topic and you have some
previous experience in using the virtual social space, while having carried
out/supported activities with your NGO - this invitation is for you!
